This one has metal embossing, metal punch, wire wrapping , stitching, chain, and lampwork beads.  Also smoky Topaz semi precious round beads with Vintaj flower caps.

Still Working

All I can think about is chocolate, as I prepare for the Chocopalooza Festival here in Adrian, Michigan.  I keep finding all sorts of brown colors, and making luscious mixes to create from.  I broke down tonight and indulged in a Mallow cup.  I was good though, saved one for my Honey.  Put it in his lunch box for tomorrow.

Having a Play Day

Having a play day, since the kids are home and have nothing to do.  They can do the dishes and run a load of laundry or two, me I get to play with my beads.  The creative juices are flowing wild, and I just don't want to stop.  Well, maybe just long enough to throw together a meal.  Those boys just can't go one day without a meal.  Imagine that.  They are so deprived.  Oh well, it's the least I can do since they've been so good to leave me to my obsession.

Great Class Today

This morning started with my boys waking me to let me know there would be a two hour delay, then they woke me again to let me know that school was canceled.  Yea!  But no rain, nor ice, nor sleet, or snow can keep my students from showing up to class.  Which is so wonderful, as I would be out of sorts if I had to miss out on the fun we have in our Tuesday classes. 
My boys offered to set up a table in their igloo, but didn't think that was to warm of and idea! LOL

In a very creative mood this evening, made three bracelets just playing around.  Trying to think chocolate, as I'm hoping to get into the Chocolapoluza show in Adrian in February.  Getting all my brown beads out.  Pictures will be coming soon.

Teaching in Tecumseh

Teaching in Tecumseh this evening, seems like it's been such a long time since I've had the pleasure of being in such awesome company.  I teach classes at The Bead Box, located on Chicago Blvd. in Tecumseh, Michigan.  What a lovely store, with so many different items to choose from.  Lot's of one of a kind beads.  Many treasures to be discovered.  With lot's of new classes on the schedule.  I will be posting classes soon, with complete scheduled times and cost.  Look for those coming soon.   

Today's Class

I love teaching beading classes, it's always a new and exciting challenge/adventure.  Today we made beaded and wire crocheted necklaces.  Love how each individual  person has their own personal style, and how each piece is a work of art.  No two pieces are a like in any way.  What a fun time.  It's so nice to laugh, relax and enjoy each other. 

I love pearls, all kinds of pearls, all colors too.  This bracelet is already gone.  Made it one night and it was sold the next day.  Seems like what used to be quite an inventory is way low.  New year, new designs.  I really have to get myself focused, and beading.

Playing around with wire crochet, it is so much fun.  One of those fast and easy projects.
Been sick since I came home from New Mexico. So I finally felt up to playing this evening.
I really enjoy creating.  It calms me, and keeps me sane.

Been in New Mexico for the past week, my son got married.
Had a wonderful time, Amber and Matthew were married on
Kevin and my anniversary. Dec. 31. What a wonderful way
to bring in the New Year. I beaded on the plane ride home.
Can't go very long without making something. Lol
